Installation problem with FM 2010 [Solved]

hey all,

firstly, thanks for putting this game up!

I've downloaded the game from piratebay but I can't seem to install it. I tried to follow the instructions:

1. Open the 'setup.exe' and folow on screen instructions.
2. At the third step of the Installation choose'Install via offline system' and click 'Next'.
3. Wait for the Game to install and... ENJOY playing!

But I can't get step 3 (method of delivery) to work. I didn't get the option of choosing to 'install via offline system'. It jumped straight from step 2 to step 4 (License agreement to Installation type). I went ahead and clicked next for everything else and then installation seems to start a bit but then the progress bar and nothing seems to be installing.

I've tried searching through the forums but it seems like its only me. I think it might be something to do with me not being able to select the 'install via offline system' option. Can anyone help me out with this?

Have you tried run the game as Admin ? (If you are using Windows vista or 7)
If you already try it, I suggest you to contact our live support at www.games4theworld.org, click the live support button when you see it ONLINE.

Yes I've tried running the setup.exe file as admin (I'm on vista). It still doesn't work.

Ok here is another method you can try. Please unzip/extract the torrent using Winrar. Which you can download at www.games4theworld.org, please take a look inside "All Our Download". But make sure you delete your current folder. And make a fresh extraction. After that, try install the game again.

I see what the problem is now. I screwed up somehow by using WinZip to extract the files and they ended up all over the place (not in their proper folders), that's why I wasn't able to install it.

After extracting it properly (with winrar), I've was able to get the installation underway. I'm still installing but it looks like it'll work now. Thanks for the awesome tech support you guys have here! I'll check you guys out next time if I ever need to torrent any games.

Admin edit: Problem solved, topic closed. (Álways use WinRar to extract .rar files. If you use other software, the files will get messed up and it'll usually result in a corrupt Installation or strange errors!)
