more problems D:

Alright so i'm back ..
I justtttt fixed my pet problem and i just went to download the sims 3 showtime today .. i downloaded everything .. cracked it like the instructions said and once i went to go play when i clicked the icon on my desktop i got an error that reads "unable to start please reinstall base game" .. D: so i thought i should place the base game crack back in from the ultimate fix but i had the same eroor come up after trying again .. do i really have to reinstall my base game D: i uninstalled pets because i didn't want it anymore, could that have been the problem ?? so confused. please help

it won't even load the startup screen before that error message pops up. so i think i'm going to try the whole installing the fix again from start to finish.

i did the fix over .. same error message pop up when i click any of the icons

Try as following:

*Backup your savegames first!

1. Completely (force) uninstall the base game, using Your Uninstaller! Pro, which can be downloaded from www.games4theworld.org .
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall the base game, following the included "# Installation Guide.txt".
4. Re-apply the latest version of the Ultimate Fix.
5. Restart the game and see if it works now.

ugh.. alright,
I re installed the base game .. it went fine..
reapplied fix.. but as soon as i went to start the launcher a message
pops up after clicking the sims icon saying "sims 3 launcher has stopped
working .. windowss is checking for sloultion", ive tried this at
least 20 times.. i don't know what's wrong now D:
i'm almost ready to give up .. ive never had this many problems.

You only have the base game installed? Please re-read the Fix' instructions and note that you MUST install AT LEAST one of the following expansions for the Fix to work: Showtime, Generations, Town Life Stuff, Master Suite Stuff, Pets.

no no no, i have all the expanisions installed i did this all before with the fix and everything and it worked perfectly i'd been playing for months.

just now when i decded to unistall pets and install showtime it started giving me the problems. i did as told and reinstalled the base game because it was giving me the sims 3 base game error and then once i reinstalled it, i try clicking the icon to start it up and it gives me the error saying : "sims 3 launcher has stopped
working .. windowss is checking for sloultion"

so i'm not sure what is going on

I have the
the sims 3
late night
high end loft
generations
fast lane
amabitions
townlife
and now showtime

If that's easier for you, why not.
Don't forget to do it this way:

*Backup your savegames

1. Completely remove The Sims 3 and all expansions.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall following these instructions very carefully: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly
4. Test the game.

okay i re installed everything, followed the directions, as i go to run showtime the launcher does load up this time but now it gives me a sim error message saying that there was a error during start up please see log for more details ? i click ok ans then it shuts out .. and when i look to the side the version says 0.0.0.0? i used the updated patch directions so i did update the game .. .

I seriously don't know what i'm doing wrong .. i followed every direction carefully

. it's still giving me the same error message about there being a problem with the launcher when it starts up .. and the version still says o.o.o.o idk what else i could do .. you guys have been a huge help but i doubt theres anything else you can tell me to do .. lol

thank you so much for not closing this topic, i've been super busy and haven't been able to do this but now i have ample time now that i'm on vacation, i tried again to re-apply the patch and tried the launcher again but i am getting the same error. i also tried to take a screenshot as you said to you show you that the 0.0.0 .. version is coming up but it did not take the shot i tried repeatedly .. i'm not sure why its not working

alright, i'll go do that now and tell you my results

in previous attempts i did re-install everything but i didn't use different torrents i just used the ones i had saved in utorent and i was still having this problem. could it be my game torrents ? do they maybe need to be updated ?

yes my game used to work perfectly its just since i installed the showtime is when i started getting this error at startup, and i'm not able to hover over anything on the launcher because once the error message pops up stating that there was an error during startup everything behind it is grayed and once i clik ok it shuts out, under the game updates tab is where it says version : o.o.o.o . do you think it's showtime that's giving me this problem ? so i try just uninstalling that and see what happens ?
