Issue running Sims Pets. [SOLVED] Empty Issue running Sims Pets. [SOLVED]

I followed the Installation Instructions for Sims 3 Pets, and the startup and loading screen work normally. However, when the loading bar finishes, I get a popup that just says "Sims 3 has stopped working: A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly" It's never done this before, so obviously I did something wrong in the installation, but I can't figure out what it was. I can't play my game at all, please help! Thank you Smile

No, none at all. I actually tried reinstalling the sims base game and then redownloading sims pets and installing it, but that probably just made it worse because now it's telling me I need the sims pets disk.

Please re-do all these steps: games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly , but skip step 1.
DO NOT skip any other steps!
