Problem installing Showtime [SOLVED]

Hello! I downloaded recently downloaded Showtime and I got the "please see the log for more details" error a lot of people seem to have. I uninstalled my base game and expansions (Ambitions and Showtime) and I tried the Ultimate fix and the manual patch but it did not work so I have uninstalled my game again. I am now installing them again following these steps https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly, but for installing my Showtime game, it keeps asking me if I want to update my game and when I click "no" it stops my installation. I do not think I am supposed to update my game that way and I don't know what to do.

When I look into the Wow6432Node thing in the registry, there is no sims file. I installed my game the normal way and did not move anything, though.

I cannot open the launcher. It says "There was an error during the start up. Please see the log for more detail" so I cannot see it... :/

Try looking in the folder before that folder. So in the "SOFTWARE" folder.
