Disappeared saves (TS3)

Hello =) ,
When I opened the sims 3 today, my saves (in the game) had disappeared. I checked in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Saves, and they were there (.sims3 and .backup). I made a new save which is now in the same place, and it seems to be no difference between the new save and the others, except the fact that the others are not accessible in the game...
Can someone help me please ? T.T

Please backup and remove all saves, except for the one with the .backup extension.
Now, remove the .backup text from the extension and restart the game and test it.

Thanks ! But I'm afraid it didn't work

Actually when we launch the game our saves are still lacking ; but when we put the cursor on the empty squares it is written that (I'm translating approximatively from french) : "Twinbrooks. Can't load this game. Perhaps it was saved on additional games datas that aren't existing on the system anymore."

So there's more details : when we first started the computer today, the saves were already lacking ; and we discovered that the expansion "World Adventure" wasn't installed. (however nobody uninstalled it !) ... So we re-installed it. That's it.
But we specify that every saves are lacking ; even the one that didn't depend on World Adventure expansion (one of the families was doing a trip, but all the others didn't travelled at all)...

Can anyone help us please ? We're totaly despairing !

Are you able to create a new game, save that, quit the game, then get to the game you just saved?
