Need help with The Sims 1 Complete Edtition.

Ok.So i am trying to get the sims 1 to work.And i downloaded the gamesfortheworld edition.But when i try to start the setup_English.It loads the installer and just gives me this "Unknown error ecountered, aborting setup.".I tryed to start it with compatability mode.But to no avail.Nothing works.Some help would be appreciated.Im itching to play this game.

No.I downloaded the same file on my computer.I didnt transfer it though.

System Type-64 bit
Windows 7 Home Premium.
Might be something wrong with the system version im using.Any ideas?

Nothing changes.Everything is the same.The other computer was Windows 7 Professional.And by the way.I use Setup_English cause i changed my language using Vistalizator.In the folder start.exe does not even start up.Only Setup_languagehere works.I really dont know whats going on.

I don't know if it's any help, but I had this problem back when I tried to install The Sims (english version) on a PC with Windows XP (French Version)

Since you changed your language with Vistalizator, could it be causing this problem? This is just a suggestion.

Wow.It's the same thing.Clicky the setup_english.And NOPE goes through the setup and BAM same error.Im already getting pissed of here.

Maybe this will help. A couple of days ago I did install the game.But it was in Finnish so i uninstalled it and this happens now.Dont yell at me if this was important
