installing Sims 3 Pets.[SOLVED]

hello, i have a question about installing Pets.

it says somewhere i don't need to mount anything from the games4theworld installer. idk why it opens a small window where you click 'browse' and locate the .iso file or sth like that.. i don't see a .iso file anywhere.. so what am i supposed to be mounting??

You don't need to mount anything for installing pets. There should be an installation guide in the rar that you downloaded. That will tell you what to do and how to install it.

If there's any other questions about that, feel free to keep asking.

the only one that should need mounting is the base game (unless its now changed, my download is from a year or so ago)

for pets. just like all other ep.

there should be a blue icon that is in the folder itself. it should be named something like "sims3ep05setup.exe"

once you click/double click it, a screen will open. and it sometimes has a request for you to update your sims game. say yes.

then you should get another popup window asking for a key.

they key is located in the file "installation guide.txt"

yes, i did see the installaton guide but it didn't mention to mount the base game.. XD
i think i did that with the previous EP's i just forgot since it was a long time.. i'll try that later today.. thanks!!

i think i know what's wrong..
it says to locate the disk with the allthumbnails.package
can someone please upload the contents of the 'thumbnails' folder?? my friend thought it was something like the one in the EA folder for the game that regenerates even if you delete it.. she even emptied the recycle bin..

edit: nvm, i extracted it again so the thumbnails package file is there.. thanks for the help!!

there was no problem with the extracting part, some contents from one of the folders was just accidentally deleted, but it's finished installing now ..

do i need to download patch 1.34 for the fix or is it automatically updated when you install master suite??
