Sims Medieval please help!!!!!!! =(

Hi i downloaded Sims Medieval and it was working great so since in the instructions it said i could download the patch and just repeat step 4 i downloaded the patch and since nothing was in the #crack folder i just took it from the raw file again and re-cracked it like that but now the launcher does not show up and when i manually launch it the game loads up until the game and then says a problem occurred and closes down, i don't know if i did something i probably did i dont have any experience with this and i really dont want to reinstall the game because ive made so much progess so if i can get some help that would be great unless i actually do have to redo it because i messed up the game.
