Current Version Conflict.[SOLVED]

Hello. I've had a problem that I think is caused by the version of my Sims 3 launcher conflicting with the "Ultimate Fix". What version is the ultimate fix? I had my launcher updated and it's version 12.0.273.017001. I'm pretty sure that's the problem, so what version should the launcher be? Hopefully I'm making sense, here.

Hello,

It doesn't matter what the launcher version is, as long as your base game is 1.36. The launcher version depends on your base game version as well as which packs you're using and their individual versions.

Ohh... So only the base game should be 1.36? And if it's not, should I uninstall my games and re-install them and only update to 1.36?

EDIT: My base game is version 1.36.

There would've been no need to uninstall if your game isn't up to date.
What is the problem?

I keep getting a message after hitting play that says I have custom content installed and it may cause significant bugs or crash the game. I hit continue, and it runs fine until I get into Buy/Build Mode. Nothing comes up. I can't buy anything at all cause nothing is listed.

Hello,

Ok that clears things up. That particular error comes up in 2 situations, you either have an outdated crack, or you're using outdated mods.
If you open the fix's installation guide, does it say "Updated on 12-07-2012"?
If it doesn't, you have an old fix which is causing the error.
If it does, and you didn't overlook the #crack folder, it's outdated mods.

It must be the crack, then. I have no mods installed. Is the one I should use on the downloads page?

EDIT: Yeah. It was an old crack. I have the newer one now. Thank you so very much for your help! I love this forum. Smile
