CLUELESS IN SEATTLE! EP Install Help![SOLVED]

Hey! Not sure if my post was deleted...i think it was. But again..

Having trouble figuring the DL out. I worked every step...twice! And nothing is showing up on the game. Could it be that I bought the games through Origin?

I also skipped the crack folder step (4 i think) Do I need to DL the game itself after i go through the (READ HERE) steps?

Im usually not this slow to things! Srry!

I have TS3 and Showtime installed. Help plzzz!

I'm including a walkthrough of what I'm doing...just for help!
1. Install The Sims 3 and all expansions you like, but install AT LEAST one of the following expansions: Diesel Stuff, Katy Perry Sweet Treats, Showtime, Master Suite Stuff, Pets, Town Life Stuff, Generations.* (You may skip all the "# Crack" folders. You DO NOT need to use any "# Crack" folders!)
**so i bought TS3 and ST through orgin. So this isnt really a step to me.*
2. After you've installed all the games you want, download and apply this manual patch: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v133-fix-manual-patch
**ok, so this is where im assuming that MY base games are the installed games. but i do DL the manual patch**
3. When it finished updating your game to the latest version, re-download the latest version of our Ultimate Fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
**so I have updated it and it replaced the new version i aldread had.**
4. Open the "# Crack" folder in the Fix and drag & drop the .exe and .dll file in there to: C:\Program Files (x86)\The Sims 3\Game\Bin and choose "Replace" on the pop-up that appears, telling you the files already exist in that folder.
**so this is where i think im getting messed up. as said in the ( ) i skipped anything to do with the crack folder! (that came up in the .rar)
I dragged and dropped the entire folder that i wanted (ambitions) into c:\programs86..origin games\thesims3\game\bin
sooooo step 5 isnt working because nothing shows up. when i go to the launder to refresh nothing pops.
Whereeee am i going wrong?!

Ok first you need to remove the files you copied to the game bin folder. Those files are the same as the files on a CD and are used to install the game expansion the same way the game is installed. Select all the files you added to the bin folder, then right click and cut, then paste them to a area you'll remember.

After you remove the files from the base game bin folder, go to the folder you saved the removed files to and double click on the setup program (For Diesel its Sims3SP07Setup.exe) and follow the prompts to install. After you finish installing the SP/EP, then copy the files from the #crack folder to the base game bin folder c:\programs86..origin games\thesims3\game\bin

So i basically started over. In the folder..Ambitions. (looking in the .rar)
I see TS3EP02.EXE and TSLHodt.dll.

When I click on the TS3EP it says its unable to open. The TSLHost is asking me how I want to open. Neither taking me to an install screen

Sso i extracted the files from the rar to the game/bin. i tried clicking on the setup and i got
unable to start game. service initialization failed. (0x024e424f)

OK I see where your going now, in order for the Ambitions fix to work you have to install the Ambitions EP. If you haven't already, download the Ambitions game file from http://www.games4theworld.org . Unzip that folder and double click the Sims3 setup file. Follow the instructions to install it and then copy the fixed files from the #crack folder to the bin folder.

so i tried it again..i seriously dont understand whyyy i'm not getting this! when I click on The Sims 3: Ambitions it takes me to a torrent cache site. where a file pops up and DLs itself. when i go to open it, it asks what i want to open the file with. I dont see anything about unzipping.

ok...im a total loob. so i found where all the torrents are for DLing. I clicked GET TORRENT and now I'm waiting for a DL to pop up. I'll update.

OK you need a Torrent program like BitTorrent or UTorrent to open the .torrent file you get from the DL site. The Torrent program will download the rar file and then you can unpack/unzip Ambitions.

I also recommend UTorrent, its a lot easier to use and a lot safer to use as well IMO.
