Can't Install Sims Store Neighborhoods/Towns.[SOLVED] Empty Can't Install Sims Store Neighborhoods/Towns.[SOLVED]

I've downloaded and tried every fix I've been able to find with installing Sims3Pack files, but I've still been unable to actually install and play the towns/neighborhoods.

The ones I've tried to install are:
- Paris
- Riverview
- Lunar Lakes
- Lucky Palms
- Hidden Springs
- Barnacle Bay

No matter how many times I install the pack or no matter what I do I'm still unable to play these and I don't understand why.

They won't stay installed or they won't install at all? Have a look at this to start with.

If I clear the cache will everything be deleted or just the files that need to be? Because I've got all my other packs to install perfectly, it's just the worlds. It SAYS that they've been installed and that they're installing on the launcher etc, but they aren't actually.

It will not delete any of you files. You're just removing the cache.

Hello,

You'll have to reinstall your sims3packs only.
If it's just the worlds that are giving you grief, clearing just the Installedworlds folder will probably do.

I followed the instructions of the thing that you posted and it worked to install the Worlds/Neighborhoods, but instead of re-installing the sims3packs I copied/pasted the items in the DCCBackup folder and put them back in, would they still work that way? Because deleting the installed worlds folder by itself didn't work.

Hello,

Yeah in this case that's probably ok, but if you even need to clear the caches because of an object that won't install, it won't work like that.
If you do keep experiencing problems, you may have to reinstall them though.

Game seems to be running perfectly now, all worlds installed and all previous packs look like they're in now, but even if they aren't it won't be a big deal to re-install them/get ahold of them. Thank you very much.
