Difficulty downloading High end loft stuff.[SOLVED]

I run the setup like normal and install it, then I follow the step where I have to apply the crack to the high end bin folder...every time I open the game the expansion pack doesn't appear even though in the launcher it says it's installed, I applied the fix too but it doesn't work and now the game is blurry.

Hello,

You didn't have to use the crack and that may be the problem. Apply the files from the "High End Loft Stuff" folder from the fix, to the High End Loft Stuff bin to overwrite that crack, and make sure you applied the crack from the fix to the base game bin.

I've done that and the game still doesn't display the expansion pack... not even when it's loading up it displays the last expansion pack which was Diesel. The blurryness seems to be gone though.

The version is 1.36.45.017017

Also like in the steps it said to open the launcher to download the update.. there was no update.

hello,

That makes sense if it's already game version 1.36.
I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling this stuff pack. No need to uninstall anything else, just this particular pack. Don't forget to restart your pc after it uninstalls.

Hey.. I just uninstalled the ep and restarted my pc and downloaded it again. This time I didn't follow the crack step in the guide but it still doesn't show up in game even though the launcher says it's installed..

How do i make show up?

Hello,

The game shows up on your launcher, but not in-game?
High End Loft Stuff only adds a few items to your game, it's nothing spectacular that you might notice immediately.

What I meant was that when I load up the sims.. up the top it says "The sims 3tm 3 Diesel stuff" shouldn't it say "The sims 3 high end loft stuff" in the screen.

I checked inside the game and when i filter high end loft stuff, the
stuff is there now.. i just thought it was a little odd that it doesnt
show up on the screen ...

was also wondering if for the next expansion packs ( I still have to
download Showtime, Generations, Ambitions, outdoor stuff, and late
night) I'd have to follow the final crack step.

Hello,

Yes, but that's correct since Diesel is the latest pack and your game will always load with the latest pack's loadingscreen and be called by your latest pack's name, but that's all there is to it.
