then after some time install the rest of the expansions??

Ya thx I just installed Pets
So it means that I can play with pets and THEN install for example...Late Night after it is finished downloading?

So all I need to do is apply the fix then the update then....PLAY TIME!!!???

First update the game, then use the "# Crack" from the Fix only. Then you can start the game and enjoy!

Just the base game fix files are needed for the Pets expansion and newer SP/EPs

PS...The update I downloaded from ur site doesnt work

OK first off, remove all the mods (.package) files from your mods folder and try running the game then. If it still crashes, try replacing the fixed files with the original files you backed up at the beginning of the "Fixing" process, then download and install the latest Game patch. After the game is updated, then go back and re-apply the Ultimate Fix and launch the game. Once you've established that the game is working properly, then start adding your mods back one at a time.

Since this is most often caused by an outdated crack, I'd suggest a shorter route. After verifying that your game is fully up to date, download the latest fix and use the crack as specified in step 13 of the fix's installation guide.
Now try to start the game and if you're still getting the same error, you'll have to go through your mods folder to see which one of your mods is outdated.

Wat r mods?? cause I dont think I have any...
And that fix u gave me is the SAME fix I used...Do I use the fix in #crack file or in base Game file???
Cause when I use the #crack file it gives me the error in my post b4 this one???
And when I use the base game file it gives me this error???

No, don't reinstall, this problem can easily be solved!
Look in this folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\ , do you see a folder called "Mods"? If not, you probably don't have any Mods.

Anyhow, now please download this manual patch and apply it:https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v136-fix-manual-patch
Don't do anything else! Afterwards run the game and it should give you another error. Can you tell us what that error says?

It should work, but it may also got corrupt. How did you install the game on the other PC? Did you just copy the installed files from your first PC to the new PC?

no, i downloaded them from the site
actually it was already downloaded in the other PC and it was working..when i tried to insall pets it said u need to update..if i update it says the same error

What if you use the Ultimate Fix (beginning from step 1) and then update via the game's launcher?

w8 i copied pets from my laptop to the other...since it isnt a file...but it is the whole expansion pack
and the base game is ALREADY installed b4, i used to play with it.its only pets that is new..
And now neither the launcher nor the TS3W.exe works.
if i re-install the sims 3 would it effect the saved games.
