What if you use the Ultimate Fix (beginning from step 1) and then update via the game's launcher?

w8 i copied pets from my laptop to the other...since it isnt a file...but it is the whole expansion pack
and the base game is ALREADY installed b4, i used to play with it.its only pets that is new..
And now neither the launcher nor the TS3W.exe works.
if i re-install the sims 3 would it effect the saved games.

HURRY plz!!??

And now there is a serious problem..The Launcher wont work..I am trying to make it better not detsroy it!!!

Calm down, you need to be patience if you want to fix this.
Did you actually copy the installed files to the other PC? So the files in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\xxx ?

no i copied the zip file that i downloaded from ur site

I used the fix it didnt work and the update says "unable to identify version of application setup will now terminate"
