Sims 3 menu wont appear in one of my households. [SOLVED]

i am sorry if this isnt the correct place to place this topic

So i have been playing the sims 3 for a couple of weeks.
But today i tried to open the household i was playing last night.
the players menu was gone,like i was in TAB mode.i clicked tab but nothing happened.i tried another househol in a different neighborhood but that one was fine.i quit the game rebooted my computer but the household still had this probled.
i have late night,generations and only 3 cc hairstyles.

no not at all.
i read somewhere that nraas' error trap mod would help
should i try that?
