Another post about Sims 3 not working, sorry :( [SOLVED]

I have all the expansions, and I followed the instructions on the how to install thread precisely, but I am still having difficulties. Whenever I try to start up a neighborhood, it will load right up to the tip of the bar then completely freeze up. It does this every time I try to load.

Which neighborhood is doing this? If its all the neighborhoods, do you have any mods installed and/or have you updated to the latest game patch?

The current patch level is 1.36, so if your patch level is lower the fix will not work correctly. You can go HERE to find out how to manually install the 1.36 patch.

How long is it freezing up? If you're trying to load a brand new town, it can snag for a few minutes, no matter how good your computer is.

What expansions do you have?

I have all the expansions and fully updated using that fix. So far the only neighborhood I have tried is starlight falls, but I will try the others and report back.

edit: Forgot to add that I have no mods or cc yet.

It looks like it is every neighborhood. I realize Sims can take forever to load, especially for the first time, so that's why I let it running over night. It never loaded up and they always stop at the same point. I re updated and re-cracked just in case and it is still doing the same thing.

Are you using a laptop or desktop?

Well it seems to be working fine now XD. Not sure what was wrong, but apparently it's fine. Thanks everyone who tried to help .
