Game Freezing since Diesel.

Since i got Diesel working, my game works for anywhere between 5-30 mins before freezing. The water/trees still move and the Green Icon on peoples head still spins, but i cant do anything and have to Command-Tab out and Force quit. No specific actions triggers it. I only have G4TW mods plus Nraas Master Controller/Woohooer mods. I removed both and tried to play, but same thing happened. And i do have the latest updates for both those. Latest Fixes/patches... Ive cleared the cache... Done everything i can think off. I dont get an error massage... And ive tried wating for up to 30mins to see if it will unfreeze, but no luck!

Any suggestions? Im going to keep trying things! This is my last day of 3mth summer vacation and am back to work tomoro! Total bummer!

It doesn't seem to work on a Mac, but try this alternative: http://alternativeto.net/software/cpu-speed-accelerator-5-2/?platform=mac
Though this only tweaks CPU speed, it'll not close unnecessary services. I'm not sure Mac has unnecessary services at all, but ah.

The alternative you suggested keeps asking me for money as im an 'international user'.
Finally got an error code now, Unknown exception 0xc0000194. Happened as i was saving. Log says that it still all saved though.... Totally doing my head in!

Oh, I'm sorry about that! I couldn't actually test the program first, because I do not have a Mac. Just remove that application then.

Let's see, what if you (make a backup first!) remove the "The Sims 3" folder. Not your game's installation files, but the folder where you put your "Mods" folder in.
If you make a backup first, you'll be able to put that folder back if it didn't work out.
