hi there i am struggling now and have had to resort to asking as well lets face it i cant be the brightest bulb in the box obviously .. everyone else seems to get it working and i really cant been 2 days now of fully un-installing and re-installing i have downloaded -
-base game
-world adventure
-high end loft stuff
-ambitions
-fast lane
-late night
-outdoor living
-generation
-town life
and i am convinced i have followed the instructions as they are on the pdf files and the step by step guide but i dont know why its not working i have also installed the ts3_1.36.45.0170xx_update as stated in previous threads i have been reading and still no joy i am presuming this is the only error this (0x024e424f)

to start the game i have tried the desktop shortcut original and also created a shortcut of the ts3w ...
also how do i contact u on the forum ?
i have never done this asking stuff on line sorry

You'll see the chatbox on the Forum after logging in.
On the chatbox, just click "Log in" and you'll automatically log in.

I'm having this exact same problem, I try to start the game from TS3 and TS3W, the first one pops than thing up, and with the other one the program stops responding

admin you are the man ( well i think u are ) either way it dont mater sims is working sweet as a nut

all i wanted to know is can i still use the laucher ???
and it says new update available.. i dont install that do i ?

Glad we were able to solve it via TeamViewer quickly!
I already patched the game to the latest version for you, so that's probably the "Store Content patch", you can safely use that one, yes.
