Hello,

It is possible that your graphics chip isn't supported for Pets though, you can test it here. Run the test specifically for The Sims 3: Pets.

Unfortunately yours is not a supported chipset even by the base game standards. Integrated video cards are not very 3D friendly, especially Intel Express chipsets. They are great for business needs like word processing and non-intense graphics manipulation, but they are poor for 3D gaming.

A trick you can try is:

If you are experiencing graphical issues in Sims 3, such as textures flickering, you should check to see if you have disabled 'Advanced Rendering.'

Some users might choose to disable Advanced Rendering for better game
performance on mobile or earlier released chipsets. While disabling
Advanced Rendering should not cause graphical issues, turning off this
setting can oftentimes result in graphical corruption.

Follow the steps below to re-enable Advanced Rendering:

  • Click on the '...' button to call up the Options menu

  • Click on 'Options'

  • By default, the first tab open should be the 'Graphics' tab

  • Under Graphics Details, make sure the 'Advanced Rendering' option is checked

Restart your computer to see the changes. You should see an improvement
in graphics quality after re-enabling Advanced Rendering.

Laughing Has anyone confirmed this? Just joking of course Wink
Chances are that if it's not supported by base game standards, there's nothing she can do about the deformed animals.
There used to be some fix, but that downloadlink has been down for ages and I didn't even find it before it was down.
