Can't put lots in town

I was editing my town Sunset Valley. I want to put this lot next to the park.
but after I delete the lot 64x32(the one with spa, bookstore and theater), I cant put lot 30x40 on.
so is the gym. I delete the original one size 32x40 and somehow I can't put 30x40 on

Hello,
Do you get told why you can't place the lot? Sometimes there's un-routable terrain between 2 existing lots.
Why did you delete a 32x40 lotif you were going to use a 30x40 in it's place? It looks like this particular lot requires 50x50, so it wouldn't have been enough.

When you "delete", bulldoze, a lot from the game you have to go into edit town, select the world tool and replace that lot before you can place buildings from the library onto it. Bulldozing the lot and then trying to place a building on it will always fail unless you place a new empty lot.

I'm pretty sure there's nothing there.
I can to put other size of lot (smaller than 60x60) on it.

What mod are you using for the custom lot sizes? It may be causing the issue with lot placements if it is out of date.

Thats because lots bigger than 64x64 can cause routing issues, game lag, and crashing.
The mod you were using is outdated, the author of it also recommends using the Add Any Lot Size mod you have in your second link. I loved ijlotsizes when it was supported by the game but have found that Add Any Lot Size works better with the 1.34 patch and up.

You will not be able to place lots bigger than 64x64 due to the reasons stated in my prior answer to you. The only workaround is to try opening the World on CAW and dragging a bigger lot size, but... be prepared for gaming issues (lag, crashing, etc).
When you bulldoze the building(s) on the lot(s) you want to replace, are you also bulldozing the lot itself? First bulldoze clears the building, second bulldoze (on same lot) clears the lot. If your not performing the second bulldoze then you cant place the lot because there is already one there.

I didn't think you could do that in CAW either, unless I am mistaken.

I had an old CC world that has lots 70x70. The creator, don't remember the name now, showed how she dragged the lot sizes using CAW in a video. The world was real glitchy though because of the oversized lots.
