My game worked before I downloaded Pets and Generation,

but then my game software is ver. 1.26.

I've updated it via Launcher, but after downloadin the update-- it was still ver. 1.26.
So is this a some sorta problem?
Do they have versions like 1.26.1 -- 1.26.2 -- 1.26.3 -- 1.27.1 and so on? And for my question do I have to download all of em?

I am currently downloading the manual patch I found in this site. Am I doing it right?
