Dilemma - Starting a New Game
Hello everyone and welcome to my thread..
I just started playing The Sims 3 again after being inactive for quite a while.. Now I'm a having a dilemma on which lot to go into with my new Sim!
My Sim will be an artist/sculpture/inventor.
First off I am going to show you some screenshots of the two lots which I had found in Hidden Springs which I really like but don't know which one would suit me most.
Let's get on with the Screenshots:
Household Funds: §16,500
House 1
Handcrafted Masterpiece
9 Cottenwood Ct.
Size: 30x30
Unfurnished Price: §13,279
Furnished Price: §15,814
House 1 - Outdoor View
House 1 - Indoor View
House 2
Gysy Hideaway
19 Willow Lane
Size: 30x39
Unfurnished Price: §14,069
Furnished Price: §16,064
House 2 - Outdoor View
House 2 - First Floor View
House 2 - Ground Floor View
After viewing the above screenshots, any feedback or suggestions as regards to which would suit my Jack Of All Trades sim?!

Hello,
I think house 2 has better opportunities to place the needed equipment like the sculpting station and inventor workbench. The upstairs balcony is ideal for an easel.

Yeah I thought about House 2, but I wanted to see if it would be cost efficient money wise, since I don't like the outdoor of the house and I would need to do it from scratch and also to upgrade some indoor equipment. Thanks for the feedback though!
P.S - Thanks Admin for fixing my links!

You don't need that tv, since you can use painting for fun and this one has a chance for a bad moodlet and not too many channels anyway.
Since your sim is single, you can loose the double bed for now and get a -better- single bed. And you don't really need a bathroom sink, so you could loose that too.
Once your sim starts painting, you should be able to start making money fast enough, especially if he also has the "born salesman" trait. You should be able to upgrade the house inside and out within a couple of sim days.

Will take those suggestions into consideration, thanks again!
