Launcher asking for Town Life after install of Supernatural

Hello,

first off, thanks for all the info and resources! I've just switched from PC to Mac (hackintosh) and I'm in the process of reinstalling the Sims. The information on here has really helped me to get to grips with the Mac side of things!

Everything has installed just fine using a combination of ISO files and dmg images I created. I've now got Supernatural installed but the game won't start from launcher. It requests the Town Life disc and doesn't show a Supernatural icon in the bottom of the launcher window.

I think I'm running 1.35 but launcher shows no update available.

I can't access the Ultimate Fix as all of the links are broken and the one I have managed to torrent doesn't cover Supernatural.

I'm wary to try the manual update as I've read that it can mess with the Mac install.

I have tried the nraas NoCD package in my documents/EA/sims3/packages/mods folder as suggested in a guide on here but that doesn't seem to be working either.

Can anybody offer any other suggestions or is it just a case of needing the latest version of the Ultimate Fix to get things updated and working?

Looking around again, I can see people have been talking about NOT updating to 1.38......
What's the most up-to-date advice?

FYI: It's recommended to edit post, instead of multiple Post.

Also, Yeah I think just needed the Ultimate Fix is your problem.

So, please let us know the result after applying the latest version of the Ultimate Fix.

I will do. I see that you have taken the broken links down on the ultimate fix page, are the files being moved to your new hosting? If so, can you advise when they will be available again? I'm really looking forward to trying out the ultimate fix!
