Mods Disappear?

Why do my mods disappear everytime I add a new expansion pack from G4TW?

3rd time it has happened and it is annoying to have to add them all back....

What do you mean they disappear? Do they just stop working in game, or does the folder itself disappear? If it's the folder that disappears, you could always back up the folder elsewhere to save them before you install. You'd likely have to redownload some to update them anyways though.

O sorry. i was half asleep. I meant the mods are in their folder but they then stop working. I started adding them to the game again but would like to not have to do that. I added world adventures and they stopped appearing in game even though their in my mod/packages folder

Oh it's fine Some strange things happen with this game anyways lol

Hmm.. Try backing up and removing the sims 3 folder in your documents, then putting the mods folder right back into the new folder. Saves and such can be replaced too.
