Can't download The Sims 3 Ultimate Fix for patch 1.42. D:

It gives me a 404 error whenever I try to go and download it... ; A ;

I'm having the same issue as the OP not being able to access Mediafire for this file. Diagnostics say that mediafire is online but not responding to connection attempts.

Edit - never mind I've managed to force it via other means.

I'm also having problems with the fix, but it's because of my antivirus software. I can download the .rar fine but when I extract it, Norton deletes the TS3W.exe and TSLHost.dll. It didn't do that with the previous fix.

Is there something wrong or is my antivirus just being overly cautious? I don't know who I should trust, lol

Norton Tends to be overly aggressive with fixed files. You can turn it off temporarily by right clicking on the Norton icon in your system tray and selecting Disable, then selecting a time period (i.e. 15 minutes). After you do that, extract the rar file and apply the fix.

Might have to add the exception in Norton for them tho also.

Wait you think you might rather trust Norton more then G4TW?
