Is it a Seasons problem? Empty Is it a Seasons problem?

Post by Guest Tue 27 Nov 2012, 12:18

Ok so ever since I downloaded Seasons, my game crashes unexpectedly,

It freezes suddenly and then I get the, Sims 3 has stopped working

I did some research and I think it's Season's problem itself, since the mods are saying it to everyone else

Hello,

That's what we think yes, since this problem is suddenly popping up all over the place. If you've tried all of
these, and you're sure all your mods are up to date and your pc should be able to handle it, there's nothing left to do but sit tight untill EA cleans up their act.

I haven't had any issues with Seasons - runs fine on Win7x64 and Win8x64. The only CC/mods I've used is the intro skip, and a mosaic remover custom created using TS3 Effects Mod Maker. Might try removing your CC/mods and see if you still have issues. Here's my system specs on my gaming machine so you can compare to yours also:

CPU: AMD Phenom 9950 X4 Black Edition [2.6GHz - not overclocked]
RAM: 4GB
Video: ATI EAHD 4850 1GB

Well I'm on a very old AMD Sempron 3400+ 2.0GHz with 1 GB RAM and XP and it doesn't crash that much more than it used to, not since I changed neighbourhoods anyway. So I guess there's much more to it than system alone.
I also use mods, cc, all store updates and medium graphic settings.
Not all EP's anymore, but I haven't been able to use every EP/SP since Showtime came out.
And yet, it runs reasonably well, better than can be expected really. I suppose there are a lot of vairables at play here, as well as a bit of sheer luck.
