Houses/Lots won't load..

Hi, I followed the crack exactly and the game starts without a problem and I can make families and it lets me select a family from the bin or a household but when i confirm it it starts to load like it's going to zoom in and bring me to the house with the family but that only lasts a second. it does not zoom in. the menu and all the options disappear so there is nothing to click. i can move around the map with my mouse but i can't click on houses or even go back to the menu. i have to force quit the application. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still won't work..
Any help would be appreciated
