The Sims 3 ( Custom installer from Blackbox) "Service initialization failed (0x0175dcbb)"

Hi Guys, I downloaded The Sims 3 Complete from Blackbox, because the installer is very small (just 18GBs for the original Sims 3 to Katy Perry's), and I have deleted my official installers since I run out of HDD space few months ago. The game itself worked just fine. However, when I install Diesel Stuff and Supernatural, I got a "Service initialization failed (0x0175dcbb)" error just like this thread, but there are no visible solution on that thread, so I make a new thread.

It's no secret, I personally hate BlackBox editions. They modify every thing they can modify and that kind of messes up things.

For example, the Registry values are always modified. And as we all know, you don't want to mess with the Registry.

You say this:

Strangely yes, It does exist an 225mb Game folder in my windows which contains files very similar to The Sims 3.



I try to change the ExePath on the registry to "D:\\Games\\The Sims 3 Complete Edition\\The Sims 3\\Game\\Bin\\TS3.exe", now the launcher worked, and another error message appears: "Unable to start game. Your The Sims 3 Base Game is incompatible with the current The Sims 3 Expansion Pack. Please update your game via the launcher.", and "Unable to connect to The Origin" if I try to start it via the launcher. Any idea what happened?
