Anyone know what to do? I downloaded Seasons, and I tried to figure it out (in another language) I got a message saying a needed to update the game, so got the ultimate fix to go up to 1.42 and I manually patched, after that, the game installed, so I went to open the game and it's 'stopped working' Sad I got this message. So I uninstalled it through control panel.
Re- downloaded the ultimate fix and tried again without seasons, and it still won't load.
I've gone through a few threads to see if I could find anything.
Does anyone know if i'll be able to save my previous work? Or will I have to re-download and install again?

Thanks for your help guys!

Where did you download Seasons from? Right now there aren't many if any legitimate torrents for Seasons. So whatever you downloaded may have been some kind of fake. It could have contained Trojans and other Malware too. Could you give me a link? I also found something searching google. Do you have a mods folder? With Resource.cfg in it? It may have been corrupted. Delete it and see if that helps.

Arghh.. this message!! 4049071320

This is where I got it from, I know now that it's a fake, so do you think if I just had a look in mods, and deleted that file, it might help.
I 'uninstalled' the game and deleted it all from the laptop.

Thank you!

It might have been a fake designed to prevent your game from running purposely. The best suggestion I can offer is to move your save files from the folder and do a fresh re-install of everything. You could also try to restore your computer to a point before you installed the fake. Try also restoring a previous version of sims 3 related folders?
