Seasons graphical issues

Hello, I just installed seasons yesterday and I am having several weird graphical glitches after attempting to play. 1) It's running slower 2) One of the beds sheets are glitched and the animation is screwed up. 3) the action bubbles at the top of the interface are overlapping... Any ideas or solutions to this?

I appreciate the reply, I will try those steps to help with the lag issues. Also, I tried disabling the custom content and the glitches remained. the only other stuff I have is the store updates that you guys uploaded on mediafire

Edit- I should say that I do have several files in my mods folder, I am not sure if they are all installed properly. I have all the store updates in .package format in my packages folder among other fixes I got off the mediafire account. Also, I have some things in the overrides folder as well. I have ccmerge.package in the packages folder and ccmerge decrapified in my overrides folder. Could these files be causing conflicts?
