Fake Base, Legit Expansion Pack Problem

So basically the gist of it is that my sister wanted to play Sims 3 so I called my friend who owns a local game store to ask if they had any. They didn't have any and I was too busy to go out and buy one so I downloaded her a copy instead. After a while she saw those expansion packs and asked me to buy her one. I just wanna know if a legit expansion pack (Sims 3: Late Night to be exact) will work with a fake base cause the store still doesn't have a base game available.

Checked her base game just now and it's 1.39. So I guess that's gonna work right? Thanks for answering my question by the way.

For the base game? I don't think so. It's an installed game with the crack. Oh and apparently she already bought the expansion without telling me. She said it was working but when she loads a new game for Bridgeport it takes forever to fill the bar up.

Does she have any Mods or Custom Content? Those can slow down the loading process significantly sometimes.

I think she has a lot of mods and custom packs. Should I tell her to try and remove them first?

Yes, I do recommend you tell her to backup and remove ALL of her Mods and Custom Content and then try again.
