Pirated base game and legit expansion pack? [SOLVED]

Is it possible to have run the downloaded sims 4 games from here with the new expansion pack coming out?

Hello,

You can't. For once, the new DLC will come with a newer base game patch version as well, but as of now there is no crack for it. The other thing is...you cannot purchase DLC for Origin games without also having the base game. See also this announcement here for more details:

As usual, we'll keep you all posted about any new developments about The Sims 4.   Burning money in this case is pointless.
