Sims 3 - Pets problems
Hello, I'm having problems after installation of Sims 3 - Pets expansion pack.
The base game is working fine, but after installing the Pets Expansion Pack, things started to go wrong.
First, I don't see the Loading Screen, in fact it now takes 5-10x longer than it was before.
Alt Tabbing from the loading screen shows these..

Second, there's some issues with the text. As you can see, there's no text being written in the game, except for the "World Descriptions"
Third, I don't think any of my previous saves loads anymore, or perhaps it loads really slow. (I haven't tested yet.)
Can anyone please help me with this? I think it's an installation issue, but since this is already an In-Game problem, I posted it here.
Specs :
Intel Core 2 Due E6750 @ 2.6GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 7200 GS @ 256MB
2GB DDR2 RAM
160GB SATA HDD - At least 70GB is still available.
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2

Re: Sims 3 - Pets problems
Hello,
It does look like an installationproblem yes. Start by redoing steps 2-4 here, and backup and remove the The Sims 3 folder from Documents\Electronic Arts (temporarily). If nothing changes, uninstall Pets, restart pc and reinstall Pets to see if that does the trick.
