Sims 3 base game/pets problems.[SOLVED]

Oooookay so. I had sims 3 base game installed with a lot of sims 3 store stuff installed. Then I tried to install Pets, and at the very begin of the installing process it said I need to update my base game in order to install Sims 3 pets, and it wouldnt let me continue without doing this so I updated it. After that, installing pets worked perfectly, but when I tried to start the launcher it didn't work (nor for the base game nor for the pets version). So then, I tried to open them from the TS3W file, but it said "Unable to start game, Service initialization failed (0x024e424f)".

I tried applying that fix and copied the crack and the dll in the correct place but it didn't work. Pretty much nothing works.... Any help?

P.S.: I uninstalled everything and installed it again and it's the same problem. Also, it couldn't be anything related to my laptop's performances cause they are pretty good. Running on Windows7, 64 bit edition....

that's also a problem, I have no idea how to find out since I can't open the launcher Wat.

I mean, it says 'launcher has stopped working, windows is looking for a solution and then that window closes and nothing happens.. Sad

h... but since it made an update, it should be the latest version I guess..?

Try this, please:

1. Download and apply this manual patch: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v133-fix-manual-patch-updated
2. After it finished updating, re-download and re-apply the latest version of our Ultimate Fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
3. Your game should work fine now.

I had the same problem! I was able to open the launch window though so I know I'm at 1.33.2xx. I reapplied the fixes and it fixed the issue. A good tip is to take a look at the date using the date modified sort just to make sure all the replacements took.

Ok so what I did:

-> uninstalled my version of Sims 3
-> download the one provided by you on thepiratebay
-> installed it
-> FIRST applied the fix
-> SECOND applied the manual update
-> works! although I need to keep some sims pets image mounted but it woooooorkksssssssssssss

Hello,

Glad to hear you got it to work! Note that there's no need to keep anything mounted, in order to play the game.
Please unmount all Sims 3-related images and then re-apply the latest version of the Ultimate Fix.
The "Please insert disc" error should be gone now.

I'll keep this topic open for the final result.
