Game crashing after installing store fixes. [SOLVED]

Hey guys. I've been playing Sims all day today with no significant problems. I wanted to download the Seasons limited edition content that I found on SunsetSims. I decrapped the files and everything, and they still wouldn't show up. I wondered why and I thought updating the store fixes would make it work. Needless to say, it didn't, and now my game is crashing every time I try to play it. I get as far as actually going into the game and doing a couple of things and then a minute or so later, it crashes.

This is really frustrating considering I've been playing all day, and I just want to play again. Any suggestions?

Confirm it's the store fixes that is crashing the game.

I had CC that was conflicting with the fixes for some reason. That's never happened to me before. I just deleted my game file and started anew. Its no big deal, I guess. Its not crashing anymore.

I am having this same problem! Ohmygloss, how were you able to figure out that you had some CC that was conflicting with the fixes?

I used Delphy's Dashboard. It performs a sweep of your packages folder and tells you if any packages are corrupted, conflicting, etc. Google it; one of the results should be at MTS.

After having done that, my game was still crashing. I also just started a new game =(

At least it was just a problem with that one game instead of the whole game. I'm glad I can still play.

And this is still not working for me. I don't know how I could be doing it wrong (I put my packs through CC Magic) and it doesn't show up in my game.

It's still not showing up and after trying that, some of my content has completely disappeared from my game and I can't even find the missing content in CC Magic.

I haven't put the store fixes in the wrong place. I've updated it before, put it in the exact same place it's in now. I don't know why the Seasons content isn't showing up in my game because I can download other packs and they show up. It's just the Seasons content that won't. I even tried running the files through the regular launcher, to no avail.

I'm actually not sure what I did, lol. The .packs just showed up. I think running it through the launcher and then clearing my downloads folder, DCCache, etc. worked. Sorry, hope you figure it out.
