Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff SETUP ERROR Empty Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff SETUP ERROR

Post by Guest Sat 26 Feb 2011, 14:59

I have all of the Sims 3 games (including base and all expansions and stuffs) on my computer in legit versions. I downloaded the Outdoor Living stuff expansion off of this website and followed all of the instructions correctly and successfully. When I get to step 6 to open the "Sims3SP03Setup.exe" and install the program, I get the following error:

SetupNew\setup.cpp (140)
PAPP:
PVENDOR:
PGUID:
$15.0.0.498
@Windows Vista Service Pack 3 (6001)
IE Version: 7.0.6001.18000

Please advise as to how I can fix this and install the game properly on my computer. I have installed the "All Fix" for PC but can't use it yet since I can't get Outdoor Living to even install on my computer in the first place. Thank you!!

can't help ya never had that error before.
I think I forgot to use the steps in outdoor living just can't remember in which. I just ran the setup put the crack and it still works w/o any errors. All my Sims 3 games are cracked and downloaded from this website

//EDIT

Admin, will it still work without doing all the steps and just installing and pasting the NO-CD crack.

Hello there,

Here's your fix:

Please open the .rar file you downloaded using only WinRar, which can be downloaded from www.games4theworld.org . (If you use any other software than WinRar, like WinZip or 7-zip, the files will get messed up!)
When you've opened the file using WinRar, select áll the files in it and drag & drop them to a folder on your Desktop. When the extraction is done, close the .rar file and open the folder on your Desktop.
Now, start by reading the included "# Installation Guide.txt" and you should be able to get the game to work yourself. Good luck!

Sorry, I really don't understand what you mean.
