A couple of problems after installing Seasons expansion

Hello,
The first few days after installing the Seasons expansion everything worked great. Recently when I try playing the Sim panel will not load (the one with needs, inventory, etc) the image of the household sims will not show up, and finally the time will freeze but everything else continues to move and time will finally catch up and be hours later. I've tried searching and haven't found much. Thanks for the help!
