Can I safely install store patch v2

Hi,

Can I safely update my game to this patch ?

"Store content patch v2
To install this update, please start your game and use the “Downloads” tab in your Launcher.

This Store update includes the following changes:

Updated objects to properly display snow and frost in winter with The Sims 3 Seasons installed.
Updated vehicle rigs to support water/snow FX from tires in inclement weather with The Sims 3 Seasons installed.
Updated fences to display the correct level of snow thickness in winter with The Sims3 Seasons installed.
Unlocked all Store purchased mailboxes for use in “buydebug” mode.
Fixed a compatibility issue with the Galactic Simball Arcade and the Atomic Jack Planet Attack Pinball Machine."

It was released on the 20th.

Is this what the new store fix is about ?

Anyone answer this??? I'm wondering if it might be what's causing everyone's games to go wonky?? I am being prompted and if it will fix stuff, I'd love to be able to update... please let us know if anyone's updated via the game and it's been ok! thanks

Hello,

No, "Store Content Patches" are always safe to use. They don't change anything for you anyway, since - I assume - all your items are decrapified and therefore not "recognized".

The Store Fixes fix "bugs" with in-game items. For example the bug with the Lucky Simoleon Casino Blackjack tables etc.

Hey! I wanted to update my game store content patch via the launcher but i can't.. The launcher isn't working properly, it hangs when i open it, saying the new store content patch is available.. but it never updates.. What should i do..?? Is there a manual patch to that..??

Not for the "Store Content Patches", as far as I know.
Those aren't important anyway, they don't change anything in your situation.

As for the launcher hanging, try downloading and installing Origin from www.origin.com/download , it sometimes helps.
