installing sims 3 pets: error dialogue box.[SOLVED]

Hi! I successfully installed the sims 3 pets from the games4theworld torrent on piratebay and followed the installation guide
but when I click the 'Sims3EP05Setup.exe', it gives me a message like this,

First try to re-extract the .RAR you downloaded with WinRAR, if that doesn't work, re-download.

Usually it's the program you use to extract the .rar file with.
Use WinRAR (Download: www.games4theworld.org ) at all time!

If you use anything else like 7-Zip or WinZIP, it might mess up the files and cause errors like this!

I tried using winrar and it worked thanks guys, I installed it successfully but another problem is my game crashes after the "loading part" of the game, what should I do?

I tried to do the ff:
1. remove my cc and other installed stuff in the sims launcher
2. updated through windows update
3. follow the guide on this website on "sims 3 crashes/ freezes desktop fix"

but nothing happens here are my computer specs:

Dell Laptop
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
Processor: Intel(R) Core (TM)2 Duo CPU T6500 @2.10GHz
RAM: 2.00 GB
System type: 64-bite

I don't think that will work, but if we don't try, we'll never know.
Please do as follows:

*Backup your savegames

1. Completely remove the base game only, using Your Uninstaller! Pro, which you can download from www.games4theworld.org . Use the "Super" mode.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall the game following these instructions very carefully: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly (DO NOT skip any steps!)
4. Test the game and let us know the result.
