Installed games disappearing after installing Town Life? [SOLVED]

I had installed all the Eps(Except Pets) sucessfully. Updated and checked it was working after each one then Town Life was last. Everything went downhill... My computer shows that they are there but i get the 1712 error if i try to open Seasons... I can open Outdoor living, but then my launcher shows that i only have Adventures, High End Loft, Ambitions, Fast Lane, Outdoor and Generations installed... It doesnt even have the blanked out icon for anything after Town Life stuff...
Any ideas without having to reinstall? (Again!)

Try to update with the super patch after installing the EPs you want.

Did you try applying the ultimate fix?

I tried all that, cleared my cache, everything. So i uninstalled and reinstalled and it happened AGAIN!
Whats the 'Super Patch' you are talking about? I cant find any manual patches either on here(Says not available for Mac) or on EAs site.

EDIT: Googled Super Patcher - Am DLing now. Approx ONE HR! Fingers crossed! And yes, i do have Seasons and all before Town Life installed and working perfectly.

So i got Town Life to work - fluke by uninstalling just it and reinstalling(TWICE!). Added Master Suite stuff, installed fine but wont show up? And seasons is still hidden... In the Launcher, it shows as if Town Life is the latest released game...

Don't you have the manual update patch? It's a 1GB file that fixes every possible problem you may have. You can download it from this website and once you've done that, you will see all the EPs you have installed

Its still nopt recommended for Mac at this point... I tried it a few weeks ago anyway and its rooted everything, which was the reason for me uninstalling in the first place.

That's why I asked you if have Seasons installed or not. Because it's recommended for us Mac users to stay in 1.39 version and not to update to 1.42 (which is the version you need to install Seasons).
So, I can give a link where you can download my 1.39 super patch but it requires you to uninstall everything and not to update the game from the Launcher.

Uninstall everything?!? Argh. Okay. But first, will the super patcher fix it? Or is your way the only option?
Last time this happened, i didnt have Seasons installed or 1.42.

BTW: Thanks for your help so far! I can only play on wkeds and have just spent my whole wked trying to get it working! Its now 7.30pm Sunday and i must get up early... So this is the thirds wked in a row with no Sims! Think im having withdrawal symptoms!!!

Don't worry! We all had that until we got it right.

First of all, uninstall everything and only install the base game. Once you've done this, let me know. Do NOT open the base game after you install it.
And then, download this file https://dl.dropbox.com/u/23403400/to-8258-1.39.3.018002.zip
Unzip it using StuffIt and update the base game app that you can find in Applications/The Sims 3/The Sims 3

Okey doke, uninstalled everything, got some sweets and a fresh cup of tea, ready to go! Reinstalling the base game now! Thankfully, i have all the DMGs still.

When you update the game with that file I gave you, it's going to be in 1.39 version, which is the one you can install until Supernatural. You can't play Seasons in 1.39, so sorry about this if were planning to do so.
Then install all EPs you want and never open the Launcher to check if they're there. I know it's tempting BUT DON'T DO IT!
Once you've finished, let me know how it went.
