sliders and downloaded skins

Hello, there s a weird thing happening on my sims 3. After applying tesingcheatsenabled true n i click on my sim to edit him, the body sliders wont work. sometimes it happens in CAS too. Should i apply any patch to solve this?

Also matter n2: i hadnt played sims for 1 year, meanwhile i formated my pc. after that when i installed them again my old skins were there i had no mods, just downloads n skins where there. now i cut downloads n have only some new mods but skins are still there can u explain this?
