hello fellow simmers I have to add 2gb of memory to play this game now I only had 2 gb on my desk top which is a 32 bit and I kept getting error 12 and I tried everything on this site but now it all boils down to memory now . I can play the game but can't save anything but I saw on the sims 3 forum that you can change the memory usage from 2gb to 3gb if you have 4gb of memory I want to know has anybody done this thank you very much

Hello,

I haven't personally, but I can tell you that this particular occurrence of error 12 is a Seasons bug. Plenty of people with more than enough RAM are having the same issue, and people who have 2 GB RAM aren't. I haven't received that error myself and I have 1 GB.
Keep that in mind before you spend your money on something that may, or may not, work.

sunny:flower:Hello and you were right not that I didn't believe you but I needed to add memory to my computer anyway because I play alot of games and can always use more memory. Thanks for all the help you give I don't know what I do without you guys help.

no I still get error 12 I can play game all day but can't save the only thing I didn't try was moving my sims to bin and try in new town or new game.

This mod will allow you to move all the residents to a new town and it preserves all neighbourhood relationships in the process.

bounce:scratch:Hello and thanks again for all your help since I had saved my sim to the bin and had not made a family yet I moved her to another world from moonlight falls to lucky palms now I can save my game but it crashes during game play without warning and gives no error just says game had problem and windows is checking for solution

thank you adding memory 294340757Very Happy:) used number 7 where it says 32 bit window changing your pc to allow your pc to use more than 2 gb of memory again thank you so much
