Sims 3 Seasons crashes on save.[SOLVED]

Hello,

Maybe someone shares my woe....i have all expansions and only store content installed, no mods. when i have been playing for a bit and try to save it crashes to desktop..

I tried it a couple of times same thing, it seems to happen after i have been in CAS or editing a house.

I don't like to bother you guys on here and like to be as self sufficient as possible lol...but i really want to play and be able to save and have no idea what might be causing the crash.

I also have your latest store fixes too.....

This was happening with my game today (I was editing the house).

I entered edit world
I copied the household with house to the library and removed them from town
I selected another household and saved as
I closed the game
I started the game again and opened the new save
Edit town again to put them back
finish the house (needed to finish it because the roof was missing)
And when I tried to save it worked

You may try to do only some of this things, and I'll try to do whatLady ElDi said.

Edit:I got a new old problem: no gardening in the collection jurnal

Edit 2: I made it work
I entered town editor and moved the house with the family to another lot and saved (I used save as, but you can try save just to see what happens).
After that I moved the house back, and right before righting this I used save and quit without problems.

hi thanks for all your help, in the end the only thing that worked was the save as, rather than just save, i also copied household just in case.

i think its because i have a huge amount of content...im a content horder.

When i copied the household and placed it in a new town the problem with the gardening appeared.

sorry to hear that.....see mine was always after i had been build mode Then tried to save after that. but i found the solution so far. fingers crossed.....good luck

you can download it from here G4TW downloads section...i think its in the May Pack

I too have a lot of store content, maybe the problem is with the store content itself?

My game appears to be working ok now, after I did everything from that guide on how to fix crashes. And I think I never seen a error code 12 after that. Just a 16 once.

Hi there, yes mine is working better too now with no crashes, i stopped using packages and started using sims3packs.....go figure...but im happy i can now play and not have to loose progress or save every 10 mins

I dunno how it's working for you, I still have the same problem even though I followed every step!

Sorry to hear that, it seems many people are having crash issues too....all slightly different. Mine was just a trial and error, but i did decrapify all of my sims3packs again.

I still get the jaggered gameplay sometimes buf it runs.....maybe a bug with seasons??

It IS a bug with seasons! We have to wait for EA''s next patch.

Anyways, my games saves fine now, I found out only in EDIT TOWN MODE the game crashed

Bring on the patch!!!!!!

I had the issue when doing specific things in the regular build mode (ie: laying foundation and fences). No matter how I saved or when - after laying 1 piece of foundation/fence, Save As, etc - it would crash. My solution was to use the World Editor build mode, though as I stated in a another topic I'm unsure if you can use that if the sims have already moved in.

Maybe its a problem with the crack..
Otherwise i think Ea **** Seasons up with a huge amount of bugs.

Edit: I just made a test i can build Fences and stuff thats not the problem..
The only thing i cant is building a 2 floor and then try to save its crashes as always.
