CRC ERROR SIMS 3 HELP

Hi, I'm using window 7 currently, I installed sims 3 based game and it works perfectly fine. however, I installed it in the D drive. Now I couldn't install the expansion package, the error message is CRC. can you help me?

I guess you should uninstall the base game, restart your computer and start all over again but now install it to C drive.

I cannot install into C drive. The laptop is for my school >.<

Why can't you install it on the C Drive then? Isn't there enough space or something? You also can change the files from school to the D drive, because the D drive is a bit smaller (in most of the times).

Everything has already been formatted by the school. student cannot use it , other wise it will be very lag. thats why ><

During the installation of the expansions just choose "Custom Installation". This way you can select where (which drive / folder etc.) you want to install the expansion/game in. Good luck!

I did, and when it install, it gives me CRC ERROR. I have 3 option : abort, ignore or retry. I click retry (spam) and it didn't continue to install the installation pack.

CRC ERROR. >.< I tried installing the late night expansion first instead, It didn't work as well, it says something about updating. ._.

I've been doing some research on this error.
Please turn your PC off and restart it in Safe Mode. Now, install the game, restart your PC in normal mode and see if it works.

Right after starting up the PC, press [F8] to enter an options menu. Choose "Run Windows in safe mode".
Usually it's [F8], but it may be some other key for your laptop. Just try [F8] first.

I reinstalled my sims3 with the same procedure which work for me last time, now it says i'm running an unauthorized version. Did I forgotten something? Or had creator of sims realise I was ilegally downloading???

I installed the sims 3 up to ambitions. in the correct order as it said in the text. but when I start it up it says no disc?! I'm now downloading the rest of the expansions. when I install these will that fix the no disc problem?

@ xuoyevoli with Late Night, it also says to me I have to install an update.. Very Strange.. How to get rid of it? :S. Btw, I also have to update with outdoor living stuff. With both expansions it fails.

No, they certainly 'aint keeping track of that. It always gives that message when you use a crack on the game, but it's normal. You can't do anything about it, but it isn't effecting your gameplay either. Is the game working now?

Please open your own topic next time. Install all the expansions you like, including the músts: Late Night and Outdoor Living Stuff. When you've installed them all, just apply this fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-latest-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems

I can't apply a fix when i havent installed the game yet... If I want to install the Outdoor Living stuff or Late night, it already gives an error, so the game insnt installed yet, so cant apply the fix

Yes, sorry, my bad. Have you tried doing a complete clean installation of the game? It usually fixes lots of problems.
To do a clean installation, please do exactly as following:

1. Completely uninstall The Sims 3 + All expansions + CC + DLC etc.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Install The Sims 3 base game, but DO NOT APPLY any cracks!
4. Install any other expansions you like, but DO NOT APPLY any cracks!
5. Install Late Night, but DO NOT APPLY any cracks!
6. Install Outdoor Living Stuff, but DO NOT APPLY any cracks!
7. Now, apply this fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-latest-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
8. Should work fine now. Please get back to me with the results below.

I did the clean up a while ago, exactly whats says,

Then I was at the Oudoor living and Late Night and got the erros. :S

Are you using CC and / or DLC's?

I use all of the expansion packs.
But as sayen before, Late Night and Outdoor Living Stuff have problems with updating while installing.

I mean CC and DLC's (Custom Content and/or Downloadable Content).

If you like, as a last solution, I can try to do a completely clean installation for you and reinstall everything exactly as it should, via TeamViewer. Usually that should do the trick...

I don't use DLC or CC's.
