Sims3: Ultimate Fix

Hello!
I noticed, that when I replace any files in the base game's Bin by files from the Ultimate Fix rar (from the Base game folder or Seasons&Supernatural&etc one), the launcher indicates, that neither the game, nor Supernatural and Seasons expansions aren't installed at all. Should I forget about it and crack the game, or is it a real problem? Maybe I shouldn't fix the base game's Bin at all?

Some experiments showed, that if I replace only the .exe file, the problem disappears.

Hmm... I wonder if the fact, that I have to update the game before installing expansions, has something to do with the problem...

The Base Game is at least the original version when it was release, and the expansion packs need a updated version to be used correctly, since it was offered bugfixes and other features so the expansion would be useful.

Well, thanks everyone for help. I replaced only .exes and cracked all this stuff, and nothing bad happened. Although, I haven't started the game yet, so who knows, maybe all the problems are ahead:/
