Sims3 Island Paradise ultimate fix Empty Sims3 Island Paradise ultimate fix

Hello.

I think I downloaded/installed the Sims 3 correctly so far, but when I try to open Sims 3 or the Island Paradise, it says origin not found.
Or to put in the disc.  Now I downloaded the ultimate fix, but where do I extract the files to?

And then what else is needed after that process? 

any help would be appreciated,

Extract wherever you want.
Then open it, go to the #Crack folder, copy the two files over there and paste them in C:\Program Files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.
That should do it! Wink

Said a copy is there. or am i suppose to move the entire crack folder there?

No, you need to choose to replace the two files. You are essentially replacing the original game executable with one that doesn't require a disk to run.

I've done this. But I continue to be prompted for a disc. What else can I do?

Hello,

Try overriding The Sims 3 by running the game without the launcher. Go to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims3\Game\Bin and run TS3W.exe. Tell us how it goes.

playing ts3w.exe as you directed results in ts3 has stopped responding. That was not doing that before the ultimate fix.

Ok, if your OS is in English, you could try my new tool (see this topic).
It will apply the Ultimate Fix for you. Just use the second button after your install, with the latest Ultimate Fix.
