I really need help, sims3 has stopped working. [SOLVED]

Hi guys ,

I have stopped playing the sims 3 since last year (my version was: "out door living stuff" back then) and I began to replay it yesterday . I have installed everything, from the base game to the newest expansion pack (15 in total). After installing each one, I always turn on the launcher to update the game . After installing and updating (the newest version that I updated is 15.0.135.019001)the game, I applied the crack and proceed to play. As soon as I clicked on the TS3W.exe, nothing happed but a sign pop up which say "sims3 has stopped working" .

How can this happen? Can you guys help me on this? I tried your solutions but they do not work.

P/s: I have grown up with this series since the sims 1, please help me to see my childhood friend again and sorry if my English is bad

Sounds like you need to install the manual patch. You can find it here: http://akamai.cdn.ea.com/eadownloads/u/f/sims/sims3/patches/TS3_1.42.130.0190xx_update.exe

After you do that, you'll need to copy the files in the "# Crack" folder back into your base game's install folder.

I installed the manual patch (this version is older than the one I
updated, right?). Then I copy the files from the "crack" folder (oh, the
crack files I used are from fairlight) but I still have the same
problem

What is fairlight? The crack I was speaking of is in the Ultimate Fix, found here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems

Oops, that was so dumb of me. I followed the instructions and tried the ultimate fix and IT WORKS. Thankyou so much, now I feel like a kid again hee hee.
