Can't install all lots and lucky palms.[SOLVED]

Hello everyone! I am new here and I need some help. 
Lots are my favorite CCs but recently I have a problem about installing all lots i got from the sims resource and the lucky palms world i got from a link in youtube. I haven't tried downloading lots from any other sites. When i double click the .sims3pack only the launcher shows up and i get a brown box in the launcher which i cant install. My game is up to date and I have all exapnsion packs installed. Do you know how to fix this?

Hello Lady ElDi! It seems that I am not allowed yet to post external links. Sorry. But if you are familiar with The A-lister lots from the sims resource i tried to download all of those.
Anyways, Thank you Lady ElDi! I am already downloading Lucky Palms from your media fire. I'll let you know if i installed that successfully.

I'm not familiar with those actually
but I prefer building my own. It looks like you have to register and log in to use any search function.
When you try to install them, do you get an error message at all?

Lady ElDi, i have successfully installed the lucky palms from your media fire. thank you so much! I downloaded a lot from another website and i installed it correctly. i guess i just have to download lots from other sites.

The Sims 3 Launcher has a lot of bugs... I downloaded loads of CC, but half of them couldn't be installed (damn you EA!), but then I installed CC Magic-->
http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=461888 (you have to register to download it), it's much easier: It's organised, Easy to use, can enable/disable CC you don't want and takes 2 seconds to setup.

the CC magic still didn't solve my problem. idk if something's wrong with the lots i've downloaded from. the lots from mod the sims actually worked just fine.

I tried one of the lots, and though it took about a half hour, it did end up installing fine for me. I don't like using lots or objects from the sims resource in my game, so I won't be testing it in-game, but the launcher had no problem with it, for me.
I would stick with mod the sims, personally, as all of their items are free, and the creators are usually much more open for discussion on how things can be improved.

i had no problems installing lots from mod the sims so i guess i'll just have to download lots from there or from other sites.
