Getting error with all the sims

Sorry, I'm new at all this I even had my friend to help me out.
I've been getting all errors with all the Sims i try to install but I can't figure out what i'm doing wrong. { I'm not sure if i'm doing something wrong .} I looked on the FQ for help but mine is different from pictures I've seen. Yes, I even extracted all the files with WinZip and Rar.

Do you have the original The Sims 3 base game installed?

If you do have the base game installed, can you play it? With errors like that I'd expect that the base game can't be played - however, I'm unsure if the installer for the expansions check for the InstallShield registry information or the Software registry information and answering this question will point me in the correct direction. Which would ultimately allow me to tell you how to fix it without reinstalling, if of course you do have the base game installed already

I have no base game installed yet because when ever i try to installing I get a error.. And i'm not sure what you mean by the game base? You must have "The Sims 3" installed prior to installing any of the expansions or stuff packs.

On this page, if you search for "Sims 3", the base game will be the last result, and near the bottom of the list.

Start by making sure the base game was installed properly before moving on to an expansion.
If you're in doubt, you may always post some screenshots of the errors, or ask one of us to have a look with Teamviewer, if you want.
