in build mode,game freezes.

i tried putting a fireplace for many times but game freezes you can't drop the fireplace and you can't do anything later what should i do
cleared cache,backup,installed worlds...but still.

Try backing up and removing this folder completely first: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\
